Oil & Water Separation Applications
After installing the Eco1st Inline Processor, oil operators will see multiple benefits that will improve the efficiency and profitability of their operation. Oil operators will notice a dramatic decrease in the time it takes to separate oil from water, resulting in less retention time in their separation tanks. Not only will the Inline Processor improve the speed of separation but it will also separate oil from water much more thoroughly, leaving oil operators with more oil that is higher in quality.
The Inline Processor accomplishes all of this by stripping valance electrons from the fluids in the pipeline before, during and after it flows through the processor itself. Electrons are small negative electric charges that bind molecules together; an easy analogy would be that electrons are like the cement that bonds together bricks. After the Inline Processor has stripped these electrons, the individual materials are no longer bound together and end up in a suspended state, resulting in the layers of materials separating according to their specific gravity. The Inline Processor is also effective at killing 100% of bacteria in the water, and will help minimize corrosion.
A typical installation of the Inline Processor would be inline prior to a gun barrel tank for increased efficiency and increased profitability. Some customers prefer installing the Eco1st system on their disposal wells, making sure they extract every last drop of oil possible before disposing of the water. Installation is straight forward and will require very little downtime of the oil operation. The Inline Processor is built to meet the line size and flow rate requirements of each customer.
